Need to set up lights, want to do camera tests and have no one to stand patiently in front of the camera? With help comes PeterGreen. A purpose-built mannequin that has all movable limbs. It can patiently stand or sit as much as you need.
The special multilayer coating on the head, simulates the skin tone of the Caucasian race, the pigment structure allows you to check on the vectorscope if you have the right balance of light. PeterGreen is bald, so you can check the light directions. The sheen of the facial surface is similar to human skin. This will allow you to check the lighting contrast.
In the virtual studio, in the test studio, you don't have anyone to hold a test board for you like DSCLAB or Video Checker? Petergreen will hold it up to your face so that you can verify the results either on waveform, falsecolor or vectoroscope.
PeterGreen is wearing a special longshirt in the colour of the Kodak grey board which reflects approximately 18% of the light. The white stripe is about +2.5 EV brighter than the grey board and the black stripe is -3.5 EV darker. You can easily judge on the waveform the exposure. If the grey longshirt is visible at about 40% IRE with a gamma of 0.45 then we have the correct exposure.
The chest is easily attached to the body. It has a flat base, so it can be placed on a tabletop, for example. The arms allow for any positioning, the longshirt is easy to put on.
The mannequin has all limbs movable. Without the use of tools, the positions of the arms and legs can be freely and arbitrarily adjusted. It can sit on a chair as well as on a box. When standing, it is supported by a stand with a base. The mannequin weighs about 20 kg so it sits stably. PeterGreen is 1.76cm tall, and 1.82cm with the stand on wheels.

About Me
Inventor of a special mannequin for film testing. The idea came to him when he was writing manuals for filmmakers ‘Enlightenment’ and ‘Illumination’ published by the www.filmpro.com.pl foundation. I could not find a solution on the market, so I decided to produce a new one, specially designed for camera tests. I am a photographer, cinematographer, assistant professor at the Faculty of Media Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Initiator and coordinator of many educational actions and projects based on new technologies. Graduate of the Faculty of Radio and Television at the University of Silesia in Katowice.
